Sand Surfing is a board sport that is akin to snowboarding but takes place on the natural-forming sand dunes of Dubai’s vast desert and is available year-round. Both feet are strapped to the sand board base, which has to be much harder than the materials used in a snowboard. About a 30 minute-drive from the heart of Dubai are the largest sand dunes in the country.
